Why Sponsor Wiregrass BEST?
BEST is a FREE program for all participating schools. Participating middle and high schools represent local public, private and home schools.
In order to provide BEST as a FREE program, we rely on financial and in-kind support from community partners.
Wiregrass BEST has grown to support over 20 teams participating in the greater southeast area. The approximate cost per school is $2,500. With 20 schools participating, one can see that we have a significant budget. But with a conservative estimate of 20 students per team and 20+ teams, over 400 students are directly impacted. If you do the math, it is a meager $125 per child. Compare the cost of BEST to other K-12 programs, it’s a drop in the bucket that generates a high yield on investment.
